Our team of nurses, health care assistants and phlebotomists provide a range of services for minor injuries, wound care, immunisations, blood tests, health check, blood pressure testing, cervical smears, ear syringing and travel clinics.
The nursing team also hold regular specialist clinics offering monitoring, support and advice for a number of conditions.
There is also a specialist nurse who deals with anxiety, depression and low mood.
The practice manager, Charlotte Rose, is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The practice manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.
The surgery has a Practice Pharmacist and Prescription Clerk.
The pharmacist and clerk will be dealing with repeat prescription requests and medication queries.
The pharmacist will in the long term run clinics for patients with long-term conditions, such as asthma and COPD.
The pharmacist role is to support GPs in ensuring patients are taking the most appropriate medication and to ensure patients attend for regular reviews of their long term conditions.
